Days of Rarity

Jadi inilah salah dua dari hari-hari yang langka. Di mana saya sempat mengerjakan hal-hal yang saya pikir entah kapan sempat saya lakukan.

Yesterday i got to make homemade candied lemon peel, unexpectedly took photos of it in the afternoon, uploaded and wrote about it on my kitchen blog, hence updating for idul fitri *finally*. At night after a satisfying homemade dinner, I painted flourish and butterfly chipboards, 2 round chipboards I got from Lia Sutra in A Week In The Life's swap and a square one i just bought the other day at Bagus-Bagus.




Today, i got to  paint the origami paper Ria sent me for "Our Journey" album, made my own first mix album, sorted out photos from Malaysia trip and to top it off, finished my writing about food photography experience: when passion turns into job, the pitfall and the gain.

I was so excited getting all the materials together for the mix album, including the chipboards i worked on the night before. Added a sheet of canvas there, Picasso's order. Looking all vintage already. Shabby chic the way i like. Right on the theme Lia set it up for: "travel through time".



Plus, all the usual houseworks: making bed, doing the dishes, folding clothes, preparing meals.

The best thing was that i didn't plan any of those. Isn't it funny when things happen the minute we stop planning? Just went through the day, enjoying every minute of not having to do anything. Lazy day, no-planning no-thinking. Happy day.

A cup of wedang uwuh before bed and American Idol Season 8 made it perfect.
