We all, too, believe it was gonna be a great day and it was indeed. Some of my baking fellows joined the class and I couldn't be happier. Surrounded by lovely friends, lovely things, doing what we are passionate about, yes, I was above the cloud nine.
Never in my whole life did I ever imagine I could give birth to an album this pretty. Jam packed with cute details and textures you can touch and feel. Wood, canvas, fabric, wools, foam, paper, velvet, even leather. We painted, sprayed glimmer mist, transferred photos onto canvas and pattern paper. We were a bunch of Picassos in a day-off.
I lost words here, honestly. I’ll just let the pictures do the talking.

ReplyDeleteAku baru menyambangi lagi for the love of baking trus jd nggak brenti baca tentang scrapbook, dr kemaren balik ke blog ini lagih. Dududuhh..pengin juga belajar bikin kayak gitu. Aku juga suka ngumpulin barang-barang bekas hihi karcis kereta, tiket bioskop, price tag juga kadang2, tisu restoran haha (trus akhirnya terpaksa dibuang juga)

Welcome to the world, first 'baby' album of Riana Ambarsari......I am sure many albums will follow your courage to pop in this fleeting world of moments and taking picture and baking stuff and reading stuff and making stuff....(yup, those are just a few part of your mama's world).....but as a first born, you will always be a special one. Trust me. I still hold my first born like a baby till today.
Good job, mama.
I believe, a first born doesn't always have to be considered a living being like they think (Oh, who are they, anyway?)

ReplyDeleteI believe that too, Ri. I stil see my first succeed foodie photo with the same excitement as I shot it years ago. I put it as a presentation cover in my fp class. It always reminds me of where I began, how it began.
